Deliverable D6.1 maps COcyber’s first-year efforts to build synergies with 20 EU-funded cybersecurity initiatives, structured across five key thematic clusters. The result is a clear roadmap for deeper collaboration, technical integration, and long-term ecosystem sustainability.
From idea to impact: in just one year, COcyber has built a thriving European community bridging civilian and defence cybersecurity. In this anniversary video, project partners looks back at key milestones, meaningful progress, and the next steps in building dual-use cybersecurity cooperation.
The second cohort of COcyber Ambassadors joins forces across civilian and defence cybersecurity to strengthen European digital resilience through policy, training, and cross-sector collaboration. Representing seven experts from five countries, the programme empowers ambassadors to connect siloed communities, share knowledge, and promote dual-use innovation across Europe.
We spoke with the COcyber Batch #1 Ambassadors to reflect on their journey and gather their insights on Europe’s cybersecurity future. Selene Giupponi emphasises the need for shared frameworks, legal clarity, and trust-building between civilian and defence sectors to enable effective, long-term cooperation.
COcyber took part in the GovTech4All Summit in Bizkaia by hosting a seminar on Post-Quantum Cryptography, led by Professor Federico Pintore and moderated by Maria-Chiara Zaccaria. The event also featured Maria-Chiara in a high-level roundtable, reinforcing COcyber’s role in connecting cybersecurity innovation with public-sector needs.
We spoke with the COcyber Batch #1 Ambassadors to reflect on their journey and gather their insights on Europe’s cybersecurity future. Madhusanka Liyanage stresses the need for unified regulatory frameworks, better civil–defence coordination, and values the COcyber experience for enabling strategic dialogue and cross-sector collaboration on secure digital futures.
