This public deliverable is part of COcyber's Work Package (WP) 4, “Know-how, good practice sharing, and information transfer activities,” and brings together research and evidence on how Europe’s civilian and defence cybersecurity sectors can cooperate more effectively.
To address growing cybersecurity threats and bridge the gap between civilian and defence sectors, the COcyber project has launched a practical toolkit designed to streamline and professionalise knowledge-sharing activities across Europe.
Deliverable D6.1 maps COcyber’s first-year efforts to build synergies with 20 EU-funded cybersecurity initiatives, structured across five key thematic clusters. The result is a clear roadmap for deeper collaboration, technical integration, and long-term ecosystem sustainability.
This report from COcyber explores challenges & opportunities in civilian-defence cybersecurity collaboration. Key findings reveal gaps in governance, intelligence sharing, and workforce development, with a phased roadmap for sustainable partnerships.
This report presents the Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Legal and Environmental (PESTEL) analysis of the whole cybersecurity sector (both on the defence and civilian sides) to identify aspects affecting cyber governance and the development of cybersecurity technology and information transfer in Europe.
