The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (CCIS) is the largest independent, voluntary, non-profit association of companies in Slovenia. It was founded in 1851 and boasts more than 5,200 member companies of all shapes, sizes, branches, and regional backgrounds. 

Role in the project

CCIS facilitates the exchange of know-how and information between the two communities through engagement activities, event organisation, and participation in stakeholder events.

AMETIC represents the digital technology industry in Spain. Their members are companies of varying sizes, including large global companies from the ICT, telecommunications, consumer electronics, services and digital content sectors. This is in addition to leading companies in digital transformation and other relevant areas.

Role in the project

Leader in Synergies, Sustainability, and Exploitation (WP6), it ensures the sustainability of the project by exploring synergies with other initiatives, developing exploitation strategies, and creating links with existing cybersecurity projects.

This edition presents our upcoming best practice consultation event, shares outcomes from the April AI Cybersecurity Deephack, features our participation at GITEX Europe, and highlights key developments from the wider cybersecurity landscape.
The COcyber AI Cybersecurity Deephack brought together students, professionals, and startup founders for a 48-hour challenge to design AI solutions against phishing threats. With dual-use applicability at its core, the event showcased innovative, ethical, and deployable tools bridging civilian and defence cybersecurity needs.
The European Commission has mobilised €910 million through the European Defence Fund and proposed new amendments to EU funding programmes to strengthen Europe's Defence Technological and Industrial Base (EDTIB), with a focus on dual-use technologies like AI and cybersecurity.
COcyber took part in the GLACIATION event on digital sovereignty in Zurich, contributing to critical debates on trust, legal frameworks, and Europe's digital autonomy. The event brought together voices from policy, research, and technology to explore how Europe can align digital governance with sustainability and innovation.
COcyber participated in the InCyber Forum 2025 in Lille to present its approach to dual-use cybersecurity collaboration. Consortium partners were present at the EU Pavilion with booths and presentations, connecting with stakeholders and introducing the upcoming COcyber Deephack.
COcyber attended the "GRC: Be Connected! Lustrum Event" on March 27, 2025, in Brussels, which gathered experts in governance, risk, and compliance. The event featured panels and keynotes exploring cybersecurity trends, insightful governance metrics, and the evolving impact of AI.
The call for applications for Batch 2 of our COcyber Ambassador Programme is now open, with selected ambassadors active from June to November 2025. We are looking for cybersecurity experts from policy, research, industry, and civil society to boost outreach, share insights, and connect communities across Europe.
