COcyber Ambassadors Batch 2: Call for Expressions of Interest Now Open

In an era where digital threats continue to escalate, Europe’s cybersecurity resilience relies not only on technological advancements but also on strong networks of people - trusted voices who can connect policy, research, industry, and society. That’s exactly why we launched the COcyber Ambassador Programme: to bring together experts who can support our mission, expand our reach, and help drive meaningful engagement across the European cybersecurity landscape.
The call for expressions of interest is now open for Batch 2 of the COcyber Ambassador Programme, with selected ambassadors active from June until the end of November 2025. We are looking for enthusiastic and engaged professionals working on cybersecurity topics within our core stakeholder groups. Whether you're a technical expert, a policymaker, a researcher, or part of a civil society initiative, your perspective and voice matter.

After onboarding our first cohort of ambassadors in January 2025, we’ve seen first-hand the value of this initiative. The first batch is actively collaborating with the COcyber team - sharing insights, amplifying activities, and fostering dialogue across cybersecurity communities. Their input has already made a difference in COcyber’s outreach, and we’re committed to continuing this collaboration as the project moves forward.
With Batch 2, we aim to expand the network by bringing in a new group of motivated professionals who want to play an active role in shaping Europe’s digital security. We’re looking for individuals from across the EU who are not only experts in the field, but who also have a visible online presence and a genuine interest in supporting outreach, dialogue, and knowledge-sharing across sectors.
The COcyber Ambassador Programme runs over three rounds, each lasting six months. In this round, we select 10 ambassadors based on geographical diversity, cybersecurity expertise, and the strength of their digital voice.
Each batch can have slightly different expectations depending on the evolving needs of the project. While early cohorts focus more on community building and content creation, later ones will help promote results and represent COcyber in events and stakeholder activities. Throughout the programme, ambassadors help to:
- Amplify COcyber’s activities across their network
- Share updates and insights through online channels
- Engage in stakeholder outreach and one-to-one connections
- Contribute to publications, webinars, and events
- Support COcyber’s presence in the European cybersecurity dialogue
In return, ambassadors are featured across COcyber’s platforms, gain visibility within the European cybersecurity community, and can participate in joint communication activities. Financial compensation is also available for contributions that directly support the project’s goals.
If you’re a cybersecurity professional ready to be part of a growing European initiative, help shape key conversations, and strengthen cross-sector connections - we invite you to submit your expression of interest and join us in building a safer, more resilient digital future.
