This June, the COcyber project was featured at two major European events — South Summit 2025 in Madrid and We Make Future (WMF) in Bologna as part of EIT Digital’s booth, our project coordinator, alongside other initiatives supporting Europe’s digital transformation.

Held from June 4 to 6 at La Nave, South Summit 2025 is a premier global gathering for innovation and entrepreneurship. Under the theme “In Motion,” the event brought together over 430 speakers, including Netflix co-founder Marc Randolph, former Nike CMO Greg Hoffman, and robotics pioneer Dennis Hong, alongside 140 investors and 17 unicorn companies.

The summit featured four main content tracks: Growth, Sustainable Action, Humanity 2.0, and Tech Horizons, covering topics from climate tech and business scaling to AI, neurotechnology, and the metaverse. A standout element of the event was the Startup Competition, highlighting 100 startups from 22 countries, selected from more than 4,500 applications.

COcyber was among the projects presented by EIT Digital, and over 500 participants engaged with the project during the event by stopping at the EIT Digital stand.

Meanwhile, at We Make Future (WMF), Italy’s premier event for digital transformation and future technologies – COcyber was again spotlighted by EIT Digital as part of its commitment to shaping Europe’s digital future. With more than 70,000 attendees from across sectors, WMF offered a valuable opportunity to raise awareness about the project’s civil-defense dual-use focus and its growing community of stakeholders. Over 800 people stopped by the EIT Digital stand to learn more about the projects on display, including COcyber.

These appearances contributed to building visibility for COcyber at the European level, expanding its network, and laying the groundwork for future collaborations. EIT Digital’s engagement at these events reinforces the project's alignment with Europe’s broader digital and cybersecurity strategies.
