description background

Cybersecurity is a cornerstone of Europe’s digital future, and the COcyber project is committed to fostering a resilient cybersecurity ecosystem through enhanced collaboration between civilian and defence sectors. Funded by the European Union under the Digital Europe Programme, this two-year initiative establishes a robust framework to support Europe’s strategic autonomy in cybersecurity.

Since July, COcyber has been bringing together stakeholders from across Europe to assess needs, identify critical gaps, and build a network capable of addressing emerging threats. To further this mission, the project invites cybersecurity leaders to participate in focused discussions, specifically aimed at refining strategies for structured collaboration. Led by ULB Solvay Business School, one of the project’s partners, this needs assessment phase seeks to capture expert insights that will inform COcyber’s ongoing efforts.

Participants in the Defence, Industry, SMEs, and Regulators focus groups will have the chance to share their perspectives on the following topics:

  • Coordination needs between civilian and defence sectors
  •  and public information in critical areas.
  • Best practices across the EU regarding structured cybersecurity cooperation between civilian and defence sectors

We value your input in guiding COcyber’s mission to establish a secure, collaborative digital future for Europe. By joining this focus group, you will shape new frameworks for European cybersecurity, ensuring they are relevant, actionable, and effective. This is a unique chance to network with other leaders in the field, influence policy, and contribute directly to Europe’s digital security landscape.
