On 19 November 2025, ten EU-funded cybersecurity projects came together at the DIGITALEUROPE premises in Brussels for the first COcyber Concertation Workshop. The meeting, organised by AMETIC in the framework of the COcyber project, set the foundations for a practical and lightweight collaboration model across European initiatives working on cybersecurity and digital trust.

The day opened with a shared commitment to create a cooperation space that is structured, simple and future oriented. Participants agreed to organise their collective work around five cooperation pillars. These pillars cover networking and communication, policy alignment, knowledge and technology transfer, research and innovation, and skills and training.

Mixed breakout groups worked through the full set of ongoing project activities, uncovering common priorities and identifying where tools, datasets and methodological approaches can be reused across projects. This produced an initial set of joint tasks with clear leads, realistic timelines and success measures that rely on straightforward, actionable indicators.

Looking ahead, the participating projects will keep working together over the next twelve months. The collaboration will run through dedicated working groups, quarterly check-ins and a shared repository that hosts joint resources and emerging outputs. Expected results include joint policy briefs, co-hosted events, coordinated skills activities and shared technology assets that can support the wider European cybersecurity community.

This workshop marked a starting point. The next steps belong to the projects themselves, working collectively to generate tangible value and reinforce European cooperation in cybersecurity.
