This COcyber policy-oriented workshop, organised by our partner EOS, is the first validation step in the creation of policy recommendations to improve cooperation and collaboration between the civilian and defence spheres in cybersecurity at EU and Member State level.
The workshop will present the key findings of COcyber’s policy and literature review, which analyses the current European cybersecurity policy landscape, existing cooperation mechanisms, and the main institutional and operational challenges affecting civil–militarycollaboration.
Participants will be invited to critically assess the review to ensure it accurately reflects policy realities and operational experience and will take part in interactive, moderated breakout discussions, focussing on validating the robustness of the review, identifying missing or unclear elements, and prioritising the most urgent gaps requiring policy action
Feedback will be shared by the moderator followed by polling using Mentimeter. The workshop will conclude with an overview of next steps, outlining how participant input will inform the drafting of COcyber policy recommendations and a follow-up validation workshop.
