This COcyber policy-oriented workshop, organised by our partner EOS, is a key step in refining the project’s policy recommendations to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the civilian and defence spheres in cybersecurity at EU and Member State level.
The workshop will present COcyber’s Preliminary Policy Recommendations, developed on the basis of the project’s policy and literature review, case study analysis, and the findings of the previous policy workshop. It will explore how these recommendations address current structural, operational and governance-related challenges affecting civil–military cybersecurity cooperation across Europe.
Participants will be invited to critically assess the recommendations to ensure they reflect current policy and operational realities, and that they are clear, relevant and feasible in practice. They will take part in interactive, moderated breakout discussions, focusing on identifying missing, unclear or impractical elements, possible barriers to implementation, and the recommendations that most urgently require EU-level policy attention.
Feedback will be shared by the moderators, followed by live input through Mentimeter. The workshop will conclude with an overview of next steps, outlining how participant input will be used to further refine the recommendations ahead of the final COcyber policy validation workshop.
