This COcyber policy-oriented workshop, organised by our partner EOS, is the second validation step in the creation of policy recommendations to improve cooperation between the civilian and defence spheres in cybersecurity at EU and Member State level.
The workshop will present the key findings from COcyber’s case studies, which analyse cybersecurity technology transfer and information-sharing frameworks across four countries: Lithuania, Spain, Hungary and Slovenia. It will explore how these findings reflect current practices, challenges and opportunities in civil–military cybersecurity collaboration.
Participants will be invited to critically assess the findings to ensure they accurately reflect policy realities and operational experience, and can be translated into actionable policy recommendations. They will take part in interactive, moderated breakout discussions, focusing on validating the robustness of the findings, identifying missing perspectives, blind spots or unclear elements, and prioritising the most important issues requiring EU-level policy attention.
Feedback will be shared by the moderators, followed by live input through Mentimeter. The workshop will conclude with an overview of next steps, outlining how participant input will inform the next stage of COcyber policy recommendations and the follow-up validation workshop.
